If you are not excited to get in your jeans, there is probably a reason. What are the top three things we hear from our clients?
#1 “I don’t like the fit, they are not comfortable.” Much of this can be a wrong size, but even worse is a wrong fit for your body. The truth is, as women, we fluctuate weight, and your denim should be able to move with you a size below and a size above. The importance of the fabric in the jean and the proper seams for your body type can make or break your relationship with your denim. Get the jeans that are always a great feel, and size appropriately based on the structure of the jean.
#2 “I just need something new.” Don’t have to tell me that, believe me, I love NEW denim. Rotating your jeans may seem like a chore, but there are just certain seasons that require certain things. A lightweight, lightwash is multi seasonal in certain places, but once winter hits, you might be feeling the breeze. Dark wash, dark denim is a personal favorite for fall through spring, but there is always an exception based on personal preference. How you rotate your denim doesn’t depend on putting yourself in a box, so we are happy to help you with the best feels and looks for the seasons.
#3 “I love them so much, they are dying a slow death.” Retiring a jean can feel like a break up, but NEW always feels good and is a way to update every top you own with a simple change on bottom. The brands we carry do keep a certain amount of “always fits and cuts” but as they develop new seams and structures, you are finding yourself in something you have never worn before. Not all jeans are created the same, and they certainly have a different look to them on every single body. So whether you replace the pair you love (don’t feel silly, I do it all the time) or try something on you haven’t considered, the hint is to try on, and the goal is to continue to try on over and over as you find yourself in a relationship with your favorite jeans. This is what we are looking for, something you truly love to put on!
